The Path to Wholeness: Why Belief Is the Enemy

Humanity has long held to the notion of God as an ultimate truth, a source of comfort and meaning in the face of life's uncertainties. Yet, a deeper reflection reveals that God, as widely conceived, may never have been a discovery but rather a powerful invention—an idea manufactured by human minds to console and control.

Unlike discoveries, which emerge from objective truths, inventions are created constructs. God belongs to the latter category. This invention has provided solace to many, but this consolation acts as an opiate—dulling awareness and distracting from the raw, unvarnished reality of existence.

The consequence of this invented belief is profound. When a belief system takes hold, it tends to shut down the innate human yearning for truth. Those who offer belief systems, regardless of intent, may inadvertently become obstacles on the spiritual path. This is because beliefs become barriers that obscure direct experience and hinder true understanding.

Stripping away all belief systems invites a difficult, often painful confrontation. Fear and anxiety, long suppressed, rise to the surface. These ancestral wounds have not been healed by divine myths or promises—they cannot be, for no external god can erase what lies deep within.

True healing unfolds not through beliefs but through earnest seeking and direct experience of truth. It is this experience, and not any fixed ideology, that has the power to mend inner fractures and lead one to wholeness. The journey is not easy; stepping into the clear light of truth without the comfort of beliefs demands courage and resilience.

Ultimately, those who commit to living from truth become whole beings—complete, aware, and free. This wholeness itself is the sacred state. It transcends gods and doctrines to touch the living essence found in the present moment—the only true living truth
